Just wondering if anyone here who like starwars is struggling with relationships like me. A lot of girls find it nerdy

I'm having troubles with my wife. She somehow thinks the terrorist Jedi scum are the good guys. So whenever we watch the movies I point out all of the evil things the Jedi do, and all of the crimes they commit. Using mind control to make the weak do your bidding, "negotiation by light-saber," genetically testing children and discriminating against certain groups, taking children away from their parents to be sent to Jedi concentration camps. They don't seem like good guys to me. And I point out how palpatine is simple trying to restore law and order to the galaxy, but the Jedi repeatedly try to assassinate him without allowing a fair trial.

Although the Star Wars story arc is iconic in the sense of mythology, George Lucas' dialogue in all six films is some of the most wooden human communication ever seen outside the work of Ed Wood Jr. If the way Star Wars characters talk to each other seems natural and comfortable to you, NT people probably perceive you as weird and awkward as soon as you open your mouth. Just something to think about.

We all have girl troubles, but I've never had any stem specifically from liking Star Wars...

I think if anything, girls are drawn to starwars fandom, seeing how it's the new hipster fad. "i'm a nerd!" "me too! we so cool!"

I'm a bit of a warsie... I guess it counts if I watched all six movies four times each... Blame it one those marathons that Spike has every so often.

I don't think nerdiness has anything to do with what people like. It's how they express how they like it.
