Several common AS-diagnosed posters here are gay. It's very possible.
Myself, I'm straight. Now, I would be bi if I had a choice, to leave more options open (and plus because that way I'd have an excuse for my more stereotypically "feminine" aspects), but there's a huge catch: I have absolutely no attraction to any other males. Now, since this is the very basic thing that makes one bi, I consider myself straight, but if it was a choice I'd go bi.

I'm straight, but I prefer being asexual.
Please remember, every nt nazi can see this forum and get the false impression that all of us are gay. Please think of all the straight and asexual Aspie men who get severely bullied and abused because nt nazis belive they are gay because they are not interested in or in a relationship with a woman!

Right now I think I'm heterosexual, but my 'official' orientation has changed on many an occasion. Although I have never thought of myself as gay, I have entertained the possibility of being bi in the past. It would be much easier for me to decide if I actually went out and became sexually active, but... meh. I have such a low sex drive so I'm not motivated to do that. Plus I know it's quite possible I might find sex with anyone (male or female) a rather boring affair.

I got bullied and called gay not because I wasn't interested in relationships with women (for I was, I was just picky), but rather because I didn't think women should be treated as sex objects. I'm saying this in the past tense because I'm not bullied for it anymore, but I do still believe those things.

Same.
It annoys me that in school children get called gay if they are not ogling females as often as possible.
For anyone in this situation: don't do what I did. I told them that while I wasn't gay, I did not consider "gay" an insult, since I am not an intolerant moron.

I, like countless Aspies, is permanently stuck in nt smalltown hell. A quick false rumor can be enough to get a person killed or to make someone commit suicide in a small town.
Eh, been called gay, straight as an arrow. Partly because I haven't dated, (Very partly, as I could be going out with someone not at school and noone there would know) and mostly because of the Aspie over affection, I may seem over friendly. As for no dates, It's because I'm not interested really interested in any girl I know, and because I don't really feel ready for any sort of commitment. As for not interested, it's not no physical attraction (It's there for a couple.) It's that the first thing I'm looking for is compatabilty; how we do together, etc. and I want someone with similar interests... Now I'm rambling on.</rambling>

I was called gay a lot in my school years, but since many people I knew were gay I didn't feel insulted by it. Although it did anger me that people could be so ignorant so as to use it as an insult. And because I got so angry, people assumed it was true and I was denying it.
