Ok, I got the hard part done - pictures and I'm in public mode on okcupid. Now, I need some critique of my profile. I'm navs85 there. Feel free to post here or message me with thoughts, questions and comments/complaints/compliments.

I think it was quite well written. One of the better ones.

Thank you! I can see this as a process of continous tweaking. Also, do I show "aspie face" in my pics or no?

your profile is spot on, there's no 'aspiness' in the pictures

cool. I shot off 2 messages so far, no reply. I think I'm off to a good start, but I need to get a self-summary going.

No. I would have never have guessed you have AS from looking at your profile or photos.
You look like an above average looking NT guy, and you sound like a real person with substance.

Looks great! Not kidding, it's really good.

I've found that the more I "work" the site, the more responses I get. Don't just sit around waiting for someone to contact you...

Good luck!

I love your picture, and I really like your profile.

Here's my feedback:

My self-summary
The thing that doesn't come across is that you want to find a girl who will share those activities with you. I kinda liked it when you included the stuff about wanting to teach a girl how to snowboard, ya know? And a girl who reads that might not understand that you want to include her in that part of your life.

I'm really good at
Problem-solving; snowboarding; biking; figuring out how things work; fixing things; photography even though I don’t get the chance to do it as much as I like to; working on computers; being a judge of someone's character; giving advice.

The bolded one is the only thing that I thought, "Hmm....." It might sound kind of judge-y or condescending (even though I know it's not). Maybe reword it to something more like, "seeing the true nature of a person," or something like that?

My favorite books, music, movies and food
I don't really consider myself an avid reader but some of my most interesting reading was for my classes and when I start a book, I don't get the chance to finish it. I'm not really a fiction reader but I do admit into reading Twilight out of curiosity.

I'd strike the bolded part.

The six things I could never do without
My phone - it's a link to the world
My laptop - that too is a form of communication
My wallet
My brain - so I can hear, see, feel and process everything that life gives me
Water
Nourishment

Water and nourishment have to come off the list. I know it's technically true, but not appropriate for this list. Maybe replace them with your snowboard and bike? Or perhaps all the opportunities to pursue your favorite activities in the natural environments that the Bay Area offers?

I'm looking for
I don't know how restrictive these bullets are, but I did like the stuff you'd said about looking for a girl with integrity, etc.

That's a very well-written profile, concise and informative. The photos are good, too, because they show you in a variety of activities. Best of luck.

I took a peak at your profile too. I would leave the income blank and change the "dislikes children" to "doesn't want children" - the latter being it makes you seem more focused on fun or career where "dislikes children" to me sounds like a grumpy old man.
