My girlfriend just broke up with me over a really silly disagreement where she refused to try to understand a conservative view I have on intimacy, in regards to going to the doctor. I just wanted her to understand me - that was all that was of a major importance - just to be able to understand me... but no.

Second breakup in a bit over two months.

Merry Christmas, everyone... or God Jul, as we say in Sweden.

you mean you wouldn't see a doctor over a problem?
if that is the case i understand her point completely, i couldn't stand it if my boyfriend was too stubborn (or whatever) to sort out a possible corcern.

I think he just wanted her to understand his point of view, not tell her what to do...and she interpreted it as telling her what to do.

Yes, thank you.

I'm going back to my ultraconservative view that I had two years back, now. Obviously, compromise isn't possible, anyway.

sometimes if political views are hugely different then sometimes it can't work
I see what you're doing here, and I take no one's side in this-your tale was far to vague for me to get anything from

a lot of people here leave things out, so they can get more people on their side and feel better about a situation that is often their fault
NT's do it too, its not just AS people

It wasn't about politics. I'm a socialist, by the way, and not a political ultraconservative. What I meant is that I'm going back to my view on ultraconservatism, in regards to intimacy... namely that your naked body is only to be seen by your true love, and vice versa. I was right from the beginning, anyway.

I left things out, due to respect for her. I have no desire to advertise about what the issues were... just wanted to rant about this fùcking wonderful Christmas of mine. This wonderful LIFE of mine. Gloriously brilliant...

your naked body is only to be seen by your true love?
what about if something is wrong and needs to be fixed? you'd let your 'true love' suffer just because you didn't want someone else to see her body? :? Seems a little selfish.

If your view is about YOU not being naked in front of the d0ctor, that's ok. You shou;ldn't force that view on her though - as in telling her not to be naked in front of the doctor because you're not ok with it

dude thats messed, you can't tell someone not to go to the doctor and get a physical examination (something everyone does, or should do) because...you think its bad?
you brought it on yourself, you were wrong, not her

Well, that wasn't even the case. I just wanted her to understand some concerns of mine, but she refused to and compared me with religious extremists. Well if my feelings are like those of religious extremists then so be it. I tried to get a compromise with her, but no. I'm done compromising, now. I'm going to study gynecology, in case something like this happens again, so I can take care of it, instead. Then again, it wasn't even about gynecology... -_-; just similar.

Yeah, it's messed, I'm messed up, I'm a fùcking lunatic. Read some other of my messed up posts and you will see how fùcking crazy I am.

EDIT: Better yet, check my single blog entry, too... that should be somewhat telling.

I'm not blaming anyone for my craziness. I am quite content with being crazy.
