Just introducing myself.
I am 23, married and recently diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome. I live in the US midwest, where there is very little in the way of an Autistic community. As a kid I was unsuccessfully treated for ADHD, but my behavior became more managable when I started participating in competitive debate and speech. I had to learn to communicate appropriately to win. I'm currently working as a secretary for a natural resource development company (and the corporate world, to my endless chagrin, I may never learn to navigate). I graduated college early and am a part time student now working on graduate degrees in anthropology and apologetics. I hope to be a "professional acedemic" in the next few years, but until then, I have to pay the bills. I look forward to "meeting" you all.
