Can a shy awkward guy with AS learn to take on the alpha male NT role if he was trained?

It's not unheard of. The best way is to improve your confidence as much as possible, play your strengths. What are you best at?

Academically i am good at writing scripts and books.

Maybe sometimes you just got to put your fears and anxiety behind you and go out there and take risks since you only get one shot at life.

Or...

What would Darth Vader do?

Yes, Darth Vader.
I've read this funny article: 5 Scientific Reasons The Dark Side Will Always Win: http://www.cracked.com/article_18956_5- ... s-win.html

The most funny thing about it shows the points to be a badass Alpha Male. 8)

To give it a real counterpart, you could also ask What would Jesus do? (not religious here, but from what I've read he acts Alpha although alturistic.

There are more examples of people who are scattered across moral directions, so there are enough role models .

Cheerfully,
Wallourdes

I'm not trying to be negative by saying this, but sometimes self-esteem seems like a Catch-22. You need to have confidence to succeed, but you need to succeed to feel confident.
