“What is worse then holding a child you know you cannot afford to feed”, Said a work mate who is aware of world poverty, when he overheard me say that I wasn't happy because of loneliness .

I am not good at quick thinking, but what I would have said is, “when someone risks losing someone they love in this way, is loneliness inflected by poverty. Poverty itself is bad because it is the inflicter of loneliness or physical pain. I don't know any unhappiness that doesn't fit into those categories.

Isn't being a single with as much chance of starting a family feel as bad. What kind of luxury makes living with loneliness worth it. A golf GTI

Now, your co-worker sounds a little like a pontificator. which is okay, that's where he's at.

Yes, I struggle with loneliness, too.

And some of my groups, like peace activism and like humanist groups, where one might think people would really get together, have been disappointments. (Some of my best friendships and potential friendships have been times I don't expect it, and it just happens by good luck, like with some Republicans and conservatives. Funny that way!)

Truth comes through understanding, scientific understanding. NT attitude is often seeing thing 2D prematurely sticking to it.
If loneliness didn't exist, yes life would be a great. Having £1000 a month left over to piss up the wall, Who in their right mind
would settle down with kids.

Love these British expressions! I wish I had $1,000 left over each month to piss up the wall. :D (even more so 1,000 pounds, exchange rate about 1 pound = 1 and a half dollars, right?)

Currently, I'm working at crapola dept store and trying to get my SAT tutoring business off the ground. Here's a link about the dept. store job. http://www.wrongplanet.net/postp3328361 ... t=#3328361 I have had worse jobs, and certainly have had better.

I've got something. I know many NT's even who are between 30 and 40 who are single, go out a few times a week trolling the bars to get wet, some of them are decent guys but they've really abandoned all hope because for whatever reason - while everyone else was marrying - they weren't and they've come to the conclusion that no one worthwhile is left after 25 or 27. What's worse, even if they did meet the right person, I get the impression they'd feel like too big of skanks to deserve her. Nothing works long term, they don't try, and any night that doesn't end up in a girl's pants is a wasted night. I start thinking of Gigolo by Van Halen and just shudder. I'd have to say that's an even darker night of the soul than being chronically single through that age range, where in the later case you at least aren't pissing yourself away.
