since I've visited this site.

I'm an NT who had a long distance friendship with a man I thought was an Aspie, but I began wondering if something else was going on. I don't know.

What had been for awhile a very close friendship, talking about everything under the sun and opening up feelings that aren't typically shared, is now gone. My friend started being irritable and paranoid. He alternated that behavior with becoming stoned more often and lazing around. His communication became inconsistent and then stopped. He turned off his phone and doesn't respond to emails.

Nothing that I know of triggered this. It has been over a month now since I've heard from him. Any thoughts about what's going on, what to do?

I wouldn't bother with him anymore. I've had some ridiculously good friendships that have stopped out of the blue. There's point in wondering what they're thinking when there's new people that deserve your time more

So he's a druggie loser. That has nothing to do with being NT or Aspie. Forget him and move on.
