Gay with Aspergers

Does anyone else here have Aspergers and are gay. When I was going through the diagnositic process I read lots of textbooks, published papers and other media on Aspergers to help me get a better understanding of myself. Being gay I have always felt separate from "normal" society but the one thing about having aspergers was that I now had something that defined me as belonging to a group, a pseudo-race if you will. One element that kept appearing in publications was sexuality of guys with Aspergers, this ranged through normal types from straight, Bisexual and gay to asexual. There is one thing I still have to reconcile with my aspergers and that is being gay. Due to my ASD I am entirely different to my gay "neurotypical" counterparts, I share little in common and in fact most of the time I find them entirely boring. Unfortunately, with the people that I have met with ASD they are all Straight and to be honest very homophobic which I find perplexing given that individuals with ASD have to fight hard to be recognised and respected in society I believed a kinship would exist but it doesnt. My question to you is, whats you sexuality and how does it affect your judgement on other ASD individuals sexualities?
