Its been years. Years.

I had a girlfriend briefly. Very shy, somewhat aspergers like. I was young and quite clingy.

After she left me, I tried to repair things. And nothing ever worked. It got worse and worse.

Now, i hardly see her. And the thought that she is still around or with someone else really bothers me.

I need to grow out of this. Ideas?

I cut my ex out of my life completely. Like she doesn't even exist. Or she does, but in theory she lives so far away that I don't see her around (even though in reality i actually see her around every week)...

I think that you're just into the idea of being loved or cared for by her. Have you tried dating other women? A lot of times when you see the different personalities that are on the dating "scene," you find that you're not into the last person as much as you think, or that they weren't that great of a match anyway.

Ive dated a few other women

And trust me. SHE would have wanted me out of her life
I asked her to block me from FB. then i removed all of any way she could contact me or vice versa, except in person.
It still gets to me.

I know im a better man now, and that she doesnt deserve this s**t from me. Its been far too long.
