I've seen many threads where a bunch of my fellow males gather around the campfire, tear at raw bloody steaks, and advocate the most outlandish theories about how to meet and communicate with women. Usually a mixture of Pick Up Artist BS, Ladder Theoretical formalized misogyny, a bit of folk misogyny, an endless procession of generalizations about women, and a few good pieces of advice result. Inevitably, a woman enters the thread and says something like "This is insane. Have you ever even met a woman?"

Now's your chance. Pop their bubbles, point out the logical fallacies in statements such as "all girls care about is their status," tell them how women really react to the "cocky and funny" they think they should be. This way, when you see a particularly egregious claim, you can link to this thread before tearing the guy a new one.

I hate the double standard; if she doesn't have sex she's a frigid prude. If she does have sex she's a slut.

(Not specific to this board- this double standard is global)

Women do this too. They just have a different venue and foodstuff.
