The blame game

We are all responsible for ourselves. Someone told me aspie girls were blaming NT girls for stealing all their men Or aspie guys seeming like they expect the world to change for them, it ain't gonna happen! Dwelling on the fact that you've not had much luck with the opposite sex isn't really gonna help. You wouldn't want someone to pursue a relationship with you out of pity anyway, would you? I've noticed some of the members fretting about not being popular, why would a negative misery be popular? That only happens to musicians who put their soul into music, and others can relate. There's nothing wrong with feeling down, but if you actually find the root of the problem, rather than blaming tom, dick and harry, you'll get a lot further. It can be very hard to always be positive, especially when things aren't going great, but people have to take a real honest look at themselves, and learn from the mistakes. Maybe its cause as aspies, its hard to change, but sometimes, its just gotta be done. And it doesn't happen overnight, but we all have to start somewhere.

Who told you something like that? Don't be so trusting - I've never seen posts to such effect here or anywhere else.

Otherwise I agree the "blame game" gets sooo boring and won't help anyone.

I blame modern music. That and media culture... And modern religion.

It would be nice if we were all responsible for ourselves, because that would mean no taxes, no need for jobs...no need for money.

I dont think NT girls are stealing our men. The single pool does seem to be smaller now that I am in my 30s but that is not because of NT women. I never thought that men had any preference between AS women and NT women anyway.

Well each to their own lol, I wouldn't mind a pity one night stand.
It is you, but that doesn't mean you have to "blame yourself". And it doesn't mean you are neccassarily in the wrong, its just the way the world is. Beating yourself up wouldn't help things anyway. Just experiment a bit and see what works.
