My sister is an NT and is three years older than me. She's always giving me girl advice. I talked to a girl whose brother has AS. He's always asking her for girl advice. Do any of you know an NT female that you always talk to to get help with dating?

Yeah I ask my best female friend for advice all the time, I'm gonna have to rethink that strategy soon.

My one female friend, until she got married and decided she was too good for me. :?

My mom tries to give me advice, but it doesn't apply to this generation, sorry to say. I still appreciate it though.

I had an older co-worker that I talked to a lot. It was like having a big sister. She was nice enough to take me out places I initially had trouble going to by myself. She took me out to my first bar and taught me how to become comfortable around people I was meeting for the first time. She also stopped some me from having meltdowns at work. For my birthday as a coming of age thing she also showed me how to smoke up. I really don't hate NTs I have meet some really nice people. When she quit to go to University I got a little lonely. Her disappearance from my life would've been slightly more devastating had I not met a really good tutor to help with my LDs. In the end he helped me get diagnosed with Aspergers.

I've found that experience is better than advice.

My sister (12 yrs. younger) can explain how NT women think in general and what they might mean with a certain behavior or utterance. Her POV is often very helpful.

That's why I like having a sister who is close to my age.

My best friend is an NT female the same age as me. I ask her for advice all the time, and appreciate every bit of it.

My mum gives me unwanted advice whenever she has been drinking. Yesterday´s highlights were: go back to reading proper books(she refuses to buy books for herself and doesnt like that Ive started looking at stories that have some peculiarities), join some sort of foreign exchange talk group and see if you meet someone there, shave the beard already.

Besides her my sisters try to give their input on my clothing from time to time and while its appreciated Im not trying to attract someone like them, nothing wrong with them per say but they are obsessed with current fashion(and expect their partners to dress in a similar manner)and its just not what Im looking for. Just so you have an idea of how much of a joke they are Ive been dressing the same way for over 3 years and yesterday I was praised because apparently current fashion has now caught up with me.
