I've just been reading some of the posts on here from some of the girls and some of them just seem amazing.

So what is the best way of trying to meet a girl with Aspergers? I know most of them are reclusive like me so I probably won't bump into any in the street.

Placing and ad?:
"Autie male looking for Aspie female"

Dating sites?
Getting out?
Group activities?
Hobby clubs?
Festivals?
Dating your neighbour?

Chloroform?

Seriously, though. This site has an auxiliary site for dating, among other places. That will make it easier to find them. Other than that... good luck.

We had a thread with, I think, a bit of useful information on this just last week. How to find AS women: http://www.wrongplanet.net/postt144244.html

Unfortunately, most of the thread was off-topic. Maybe this one will work out better.

1. Get to know people on aspie sites
2. Go to aspergers support groups
3. Meet as many people as possible
4. Learn to determine "aspie traits" without having to be notified that the person is diagnosed
5. Go to hobby groups for your own interests
6. go to aspie affection

Is this the site? http://www.aspieaffection.com

Is this the kind of thing where you register, spend ages doing your profile only to realise that you have to pay to contact someone?

I'm pretty sure it's free, Adamantus.

Perhaps a difficult one, but if you want to meet Aspie ladies out in the wild , great advice. I know I don't go around talking about being Aspergian.

This site is quite dodgy. I registered and logged in but then the site echoed the db queries on the page. I would be careful, on a practical note it could disclose your email and personal details. I'd be happy to offer assistance into fixing it as I have a lot of knowledge in this area, but don't use Pear too much. Is this Alex's site?

 I have to disagree! Obviously the quickest way to a girl's heart is through her chest.

Luck.

In my experience, anyway

My GF kind of squeezed me out of the closet, and I asked if she had ever heard of Aspergers, and she replied that she did, that she was pretty sure she had it.

I was like "Woah," ha ha.

In my opinion, the best way to meet other aspies - girls and guys - is through local support groups. I've met lots of other AS males and females that way. If you don't have any local support groups, start your own one.

I personally think trying to meet people over the internet is an anti-productive way to go about things.
