I have been seeing this amazing girl for the last 9 months. She describes herself as bisexual and further details that her attraction amounts to men: 60% and women: 40%. But it has not affected our relationship. So I ask, has it affected anyone else's relationship?

Why would it affect the relationship?

I myself am bisexual, and, oddly, I was once in a relationship with a girl who described herself as a lesbian when I met her.

I really can't see how sexual orientation would figure into a relationship unless you were completely homosexual and seeing someone of the opposite gender (or the other way around).

I'm bisexual and it's never affected my relationships.

Oh, well that's good to know. People always ask me if shes gonna leave me for another girl. I find these questions preposterous!

People can be pretty stupid. My ex-MIL asked me if I was going to 'go lesbian' and leave her son about 7 years ago.

I just chalk it up to them not really getting it.

I'm bisexual, and for a while my boyfriend wondered, after I told him, if I was going to leave him because I'd never done anything with another girl. It's true that it's a side of me I haven't explored, but I'm happy in the relationship and if I'm happy, I wouldn't leave because of something like this.

Bisexual doesn't equal promiscuous, though some people seem to have this impression.

I'm bi (to put a label on it), and that's a worry my girlfriend has. I'm attracted to both guys and girls, but it hasn't affected a relationship of mine before. I don't see it being a problem in the future, either.

Wonderful! A topic about misconceptions on sexual orientation. I have a question: if I date a bisexual girl, will she accept a threesome with me and another girl? Will I get cooties from being exposed to two women at once? :P

I have always been bi. I dont know what percentage i count myself lesbian or straight. It is very fluid. At times i have been up to 90 percent each way.

My fantasies are always lesbian though. I am not sure why. I just think the male body doesn't turn me on as much as a female's.

my tastes for men and women are not the norm and i am not ashamed of this. I prefer larger men and women. This is just what i have always found attractive. I like longer hair on men and shorter hair on women. I just find this attractive.

My sexuality tends to be fluid with who i am attracted to at that time. It almost becomes an obsession.

Yes, you'll get cooties from being with two women at once. I can get technical if you wish.

I haven't dated another person. My hand is better at pleasuring me than any woman, though. But my hand is male, so when I do that to myself it is male on male action. However, I would choose a girl if I were dating another person. I guess that makes me bisexual.

So when I date myself I am dating a bisexual. I've never had any problems with myself either. :D

A threesome? Make sure she would want that kind of relationship first. You get selection under any label.
