I got this message this morning (incorrect spelling and all) from some person on OKCupid, who I don't even remember checking out.

Weird.

Either way, I slowly moving away from online dating and trying to find other ways to meet girls (since I'm not a 100% social phobe).

Doesn't OKCupid have that quick match feature thingy (been a while since I used it). I remember clicking through dozens of women at a time, rating them...and if you rate them high enough, the site sends them a message that you were interested. I don't believe I'd remember most of them that I clicked on if they contacted me. /shrug/

respond with something like "oh I wasn't actually interested in you. I was just wondering why okcupid would suggest someone like YOU to me" :P

she sounds like a total b***h.

anyway though why is everyone here so much into online dating? the only picture of online dating I have is what I read on this site and it sounds like pure horror.

That's what I did. I talked about dating with my friends and one of them said they could hook me up with somebody. After all, friends would know you better than an online dating algorithm. :)

meh, friends setting you up hardly ever works irl.

be the crazy person talking to strangers on the bus stop, at the post office or whatever! it's fun! we need more crazy people who talk to strangers everywhere! whee!
