So, I have a date a week from Saturday with a guy whom I've been talking back and forth with on the internet. He's going to have to drive ~ 4 hours to get here, and the plan is lunch and then a walk or hike (I live in an area with tremendous natural beauty, and we both like nature).

Any suggestions?

It sounds good. If he's driving four hours to reach you, he's clearly serious.

It sounds fun. If there's no threat of bears maybe a picnic lunch.
