I'm going to be honest. I can list more hardships women have in life than those men have in life. However, I'm going to refrain from stating that women have it harder for one reason.

Which list of hardships is more difficult to endure doesn't always come down to quantity, but the individual having to endure them.

If you are a shy man who lacks confidence and doesn't want to have to deal with the stress of financially supporting a family (if you want a family), and feel you would be happier in a more traditionally feminine role in life, then you might indeed find that women do have it easier, as they traditionally do not have to meet the expectations men do, that you struggle with.

If you are a woman who wants to be able to go about with the same freedoms men; travel to remote places alone without worrying about being raped or murdered by a serial killer, and have the same career opportunities men have. If you want people to really see you as an intellectual equal when you start talking about rebuilding your car engine, then you would probably find that it would be easier for you to cope with the list of difficulties men have.

It really does depend on what the individual can better tolerate. For those of you who find your list of difficulties absolutely unbearable, there is always the option of a sex change.

Of course you have to be aware that they can't completely feminize a masculine bone structure and they can't make a fully operational penis.

See? Everyone has their difficulties.

That's my point. People should stop complaining about how the opposite sex has it easier or they should get a sex change.

Both as men and women on the spectrum, we all have our challenges and often the challenges are different. Someone should just list a whole set of challenges for each sex. Being that we all struggle in our own lives, its easy to think "the grass is greener on the other side" concept. But it aint always true.

Put it this way, it always sucks balls to be someone who doesnt completely conform to societal norms, male or female. At times we feel the opposite sex accepts us more. Thats cause if your a:

Socially naive/awkward female: guys might think, she a girl she doesnt know how guys really are, so they give you more leeway with them

Socially naive/awkward male: girls might just not always expect the best out of guys and think their all kinda dumb plus and they might be a bit sympathetic towards you therefore you get more leeway

I've been thinking of getting myself a sex change for a long time. I've changed my profile gender and now I want to do it in real life. If I won a $3 Million + lottery, I would. That's why I go by Mick when welcoming new members.

Not only that. It always ends up that the same members are saying the same things, every time a thread like this is made and I'm guilty of being one of those members. The rest of the same members are going to post in this thread within the next 24 hours, as well.

How about we just cut all the gender-based generaliation and get back to some universal truths: that light travels at 300,000km/s, the degrees of a triangle will always add up to 180, George Washington was the first president of the US, I am unlovable, and the burning of hydrogen gas produces water as a byproduct.

What is there to fix? It might as well be an essential truth... i haven't seen any evidence to the contrary.

Every individual has their own struggles to deal with......not all women have the same issues, not all men have the same issues...and not everyone perfectly fits into a gender sterotype either. there are a lot of female issues I don't really relate to.

I am not self concious about how I look, I mean I wear cut off shorts even if I have not shaved my legs and they have visable hair on them, I rarely wear make up and if I do it consists of eyeliner and maybe some chapstick if my lips are chapped. I am however self concoius of what people think sometimes I am used to being that person who gets pushed into the role of the lonely outcast so I get paranoid that people must dislike me for some reason or another. I listen to Heavy Metal and I hate happy, upbeat pop music...I could go on about all the ways I don't feel like I identify with most females but the point is people can't just be put into boxes based on their physical gender.
