Indeed one should definitely learn from the wisdom of one's elders. But some elders are better qualified than others, particularly in regards to the plight of young men. The ones I chose to listen to were bitter old divorcees and working men, some of whom are still married, quite a few of them ex-military. Their knowledge and worldview just clicked with me, much the same way many theories in physics do for me. In that red pill instant everything changed and the more I interact with the world, the more their observations and theories ring true. I'm sure I will think differently in 6 years time, but not much differently. They say people get more forgiving and liberal with age, that will probably be true of me too, but unless a similar "red pill moment" occurs, you won't be seeing me on any feminist protests.
