I have always wondered what is the best way to capture a man's heart. Some of the things i have heard is cooking, treating him like a King and never cheating. What do you think is the best way to a man's heart?

Those sort of things can't hurt, I would add that when he squeezes your hand, squeeze back - that would probably make me faint... :wink:

Another member posted this the other day and I thought it was absolutely brilliant and couldn't improve upon it - be this:

I'm also attracted to people (of either sex) who are somehow different from the norm....who have created their own worldview instead of adopting the worldview that popular culture tell them they're supposed to have. People who, for example:

Haven't lost simple curiosity about the world around them (will comment on or ask questions about things that other people seem to take for granted....will say "I wonder why/how/if");

Value honesty more than the social dance of politeness (i.e. people who don't assume that all you want to hear is a hollow lie designed to meet supposedly-universal social expectations.....so if asked for their opinion they'd actually share it or say "I don't know/I have no opinion" if that was the honest answer);

Have interests beyond popular culture (interests that are "unusual");

See people as individuals, without creating a conceptual system of little boxes to put people in (i.e. they don't tend to think of people as "weird vs. normal" "smart vs. stupid" etc.)

Dear Tica, if you are serious about getting to a man's heart, you'll need a scalpel, rib cutters, rib retractors, and don't forget to have something ready to put it in...Sylkat :D ...do let me know how the procedure goes

Honesty, loyalty, intelligence, compassion, humility...

Good hygiene, a nice figure, a sweet smile...

Good fashion sense, communication skills, artistic talent...

... and enough vulnerability to trigger and fulfill my need to protect and provide for someone.

Just respect him and show him how much you love and care for him. I'd expect my girlfriend to do that (if I were interested in relationships that is)

Through the ribcage, duh. :D *ducks*

With me, laughing at my jokes is a start, but making me laugh is the quickest way. Funny = awesome.

showing the right amount of interest is a good start. Someone who makes me feel good and encourages me is a great start. There's a book called "Love Languages" which has an interesting perspective. maybe rent it from the library

Attempt to be interested in what we enjoy. A girl who knows football is very attractive. :D

Here's something for the guys like me... if you see an otherwise shy guy acting awkwardly to you, give him a little reassurance.

A steak , fries with salad aside.

For me personally, just good hummus.
