Okay, the most romantic date I had was going to the dance with a girl, unfortunately she ended up making out with another girl much to my disappointment. But enough of that, let's share stories of dates that went well. Unfortunately I never had a date that went well. So let us know what you did, did you take her out to a movie? Did you eat dinner? Just two quick rules, stay on topic and don't post any soft-core pornographic literature. Or if you have to mention something just say that the rest of the evening was erm... Eventful...

It's mostly been mundane visits to coffee shops, restaurants, and movie theatres. The most interesting date involved me getting dragged along to one of those silly Rocky Horror Picture Show audience participation shows. I wasn't interested in it at all, but as a young gay man, it was the first time I ever felt comfortable holding another guy's hand and kissing him in public. We came back to my house and I got laid, which was nice.

I recall a year or so ago when I was still in a long term relationship, spending a week on a camping/biking trip with my girlfriend/partner. Just the basic things we needed and each other for entertainment. I found every evening of that week romantic in some way. Even little things like cooking together

Damn requirements . . . pretty much all my experiences involve alcohol and sex and very little else.

My only romantic "experience" was playing with my hand once.
