Apparently men write better love poems than women.

[opinion]

Men seem drawn to formats of metre and rhyme, while women seem to prefer long, rambling, emo freeverse instead.

Where'd you get that from? I'd be interested in reading an article on it if it's the result of a study or something.

I was googling love poems the other day, and reading random love poems. Some by men, some by women. Granted there are some crappy ones by men and some good ones by women, but I think on the whole, men wrote better love poems than women. Although I didn't read many poems the other day, and half the time I just skimmed them.
