The story is simple. I had a girlfriend. And we've broke up recently. Despite our best, long attempts. Exactly because I'm an aspie. Not enough connection, that's what she said. She was right, that's what I think. Aspie is aspie. Some kind of segregation is a good thing. Kind of.

Life is infinitely funny. Anyone has another one for sale?

i'm sorry to hear that, your post sounds quite sad to me. ((((hugs))))

maybe it's important to remember... it's really not just you. if the connection was lacking, it was on both sides.... maybe the connection betweem you just couldn't endure. or maybe you two just didn't have the spark anymore. it happens.

if you had several girlfriends in a row that all said the same thing i'd think you could reflect a bit on your part in the breakup, but if this is news to you i'd chalk it up to experience and hope to make a better connection with the next girl.
