I want to try African women

Don't get me wrong, there are plenty of lovely African-American and other African Diaspora women, but after repeated failures to ask them out I have come to the conclusion that African-American women aren't interested in me (probably because they're socialized to avoid dating white men). I've heard that African women are more open to white guys and that you don't have to make as much money to impress them as you do American women of any background. I also think intercultural dating could be a very educational experience for me as I get to learn about a different culture. Plus, African girls often have nice accents.

I hope the grass is really greener in Africa.

So, what are you going to do to meet such women? Move to Ghana for the next few years?

What is your area of study? Could you possibly extend your studies to some field work in Africa?

You need to know that non-Western women aren't really the way Westerners are imagining them to be. I'm not saying they're golddiggers or mean, but it all depends on a woman, just like with a Western woman.

As for African-American women not wanting white guys, it depends on the girl. I know many IR couples of this kind.

Yes, don't give up on African American women. You may be able to find one if you are open to altering your approach or methods, etc. I've known plenty of African American women who were open to dating men who are not African American. I have two family members doing so right now... So as I said before don't exactly give up right away, just slow down and think about the situation a bit more. That said, good luck with your dating efforts!

I guess I've simply been unlucky then. I should note that none of the women who have rejected me mentioned race at their reason (usually the excuse is "I already have a boyfriend").

I believe there are specialized dating sites for IR couples (black women dating white men). So you should try there. Nothing wrong about dating a girl from Africa, but I think it might be easier to search for a date locally.

I'm not an expert (and I'm white), but I know for sure more black women are open to dating non-black men than people sometimes think. Some of my black friends are dating white guys.

Good point, no one should pursue someone of a different race or culture simply because they think the grass is greener on the other side or that the relationship will be exempt from flaws and problems. Not only will they be disappointed when they come back down to reality but they will put more expectations and pressure on the relationship to be perfect.

Ive known a few guys who went out with african women. Ive had a few chances myself but I was too paranoid about the AIDs rate given their countries of origin.

Closer to home the caribbean might be worth a look.

I've known a few African women (including a Kenyan girl who looked exactly like that photo). An Ivorian told me that black women need to be taken care of financially and they'll take care of you sexually and with food. Even a charmless person could get rich and get a hot black girl, in theory. Good luck!

I like their big eyes, lips, tits and arses. Never saw a black person until I was 18 so I probably have a something of a fetish for them.
