My favorite Asperger's author Rudy Simone is coming out with a new book this Spring entitled "22 Things a Woman with Aspergers Wants her Partner to Know". Here's a link to the Facebook page for the book:

I will get that, hopefully it will be good and not rubbish like all the other asperger relationship books.

if it goes on about aspie women being passive and quiet I shall tear it up tho.

edit- its says on amazon review that her other book bangs on about cassandra syndrome and is quite negative about AS men so I dont hold out much hope for it.

Hi Cathylynn,

I'm actually pretty border line between F&T, and P&J, but after reading the books and tracking my results for decades, I've finally settled in INFJ. I, um, get rather "into" popular psychology.

Hi Raven,

Which book was that? I absolutely love Aspergirls. It's my favorite of the many Asperger's books I have read. I feel like I could hand it out as my biography. But if you don't relate you don't relate. We're all different.

Raven,

I haven't read that book since it doesn't apply to me. I hope you like Aspergirls though.

It seems like this author has recieved mixed reviews. Her book Aspergirls was recieved much better than the book about males with Asperger's Syndrome.

I've only read Aspergirls, which was awesome despite the goofy title, but I can't really say anything about this new book.

It seems odd her other book went on and on about Cassandra Syndrome, since she sounds like a pretty empowered woman with AS herself. I'm wondering if anyone is confusing Rudy Simone with Maxine Aston? Two authors with very different viewpoints.

Edit: Oh, dear. I just went and read the review and Maxine Aston wrote the forward. I'm surprised.
