Do u agree that treating women with more courtesy and respect compared too men is just as wrong as treating people differently based on there skin colour?

No, because skin colour is not indicative of gender. It is indicative of race.

Gender and race are not the same thing.

I believe that women should be treated as women, and men should be treated as men.

Plodder I am not sure if I agree with u because we are all humans regardless of what gender we are. I think treating men with a lot less courtesy than women is evil and discriminating. Basically sexism.

I think it's good to treat everyone with courtesy and respect. But sometimes the courtesy aspect is confusing, because some people would rather do for others than have others do for them, and some people would rather be done for, which is of course rather selfish, but there are ways in which couples establish roles based on their leanings in this regard - and outsiders sometimes can't understand it. In a relationship, whatever the couple settles on and that both can live with, in other words, whatever works for those two people is what is right, IMO.

It sounds kind of unfair to me to treat people differently based on gender - I'm all for equal treatment. That being said, it is nice to treat everyone with courtesy and respect

I think everyone should be treated with respect.
But there is a flaw in your question. It's nothing like racism unless you hate on men because they're men.
It's also common for prettier women to be treated with more respect than less pretty women, which makes me want to puke tbh.

The problem I have is that for instance if a man says "women are nasty" he will get ostracized yet if women would say something similar nothing would happen. Why is that?

I am basically saying its okay for a women too hate on men buts its not okay for a man too hate on women

I agree. And it is similar to racism. If you treated, say, white people better than black people because they were white, that would still be racism.
