My boyfriend of almost 5 months is leaving for Italy for a 6 month job contract and I want to get him something REALLY meaningful and creative for Valentine's Day......which is only a few days before he leaves....so I want to get him something he can take with him to Italy and remember me by.....like every time he sees it he remembers me....something like that. All your ideas are welcome!! ! Thanks.

Oooh! Do you knit at all? Are you crafty in other ways?

How about a small scrapbook with memories and pictures and thoughts and stuff like that?

Hmmm, well shutterfly is a great way to create special photo albums. Maybe go to their site and work on an album with pics of you/you and him. He can take you right along. And I don't think the albums are too expensive.

you could get him a little mp3 player like an ipod shuffle and fill it with his favorite music and music that you enjoy together :)
