There's a girl I like at school and I've been talking to her for a couple of months but I don't know if I should do anything for her on Valentine's Day or not. I was thinking about getting her a teddy bear or something. I don't know if she likes me back though as I only talk to her once a day. I would like to get her something but I don't know if I should or not. Any advice?

I know...but the problem is I don't know if she likes me back. What if I get turned down?

Seems a bit weird. Why not just get her a simple flower like a daisy? It's not too ott.

I say you give her something for Valentine's without expecting anything in return. You can't predict whether she likes you or not, but you should still make a move anyway.

I like the idea of flowers (a small bunch) or maybe give a card with a simple "happy valentines day" message written in it

A teddy bear is a good idea and it doesn't wilt either so it will be a gift for life, personally I think you can't go wrong with a box of chocolates.

If she likes you, you'll get something out of it.

If she doesn't like you, two things may happen:

1) She starts to like you (due to the gesture and knowing that you like her now will effect her mentality), or

2) You get a smile, but get turned down in the way of romance. But have you lost anything other than a bit of charisma/pride? Not really.

At least if she doesn't like you, you will know for sure.

Stick to something small and simple.

I agree with what everyone said - just keep it light and friendly, but definitely put some thought into it.

How about leaving a mannequin head with a small candle in front of it on her doorstep?

Well, maybe not...

A single flower is more romantic than a small bunch (at least to me)
I had real bad allergies when I was younger and my BF gave me a bouquet of balloons which I love them too

I would go with the teddy bear or something similar she can keep around. Even if you end up with a kiss on the cheek don't get down on yourself cause she may just have to think about it a bit. Make sure it has your email or phone number when you give it.
