Seeing everyone always bleets on about this site I thought I would give it a go and post my results here.

I won't post actual messages but will talk about any approaches and etc and what happens.

I made a really s**t profile.

It's probably not the best for an experiment.

Gawd, I can't even find a link to it. When I add my username to the URL it just gives me a 404.

Fail web design if there was any.

Did you give your profile an appropriately silly name? :P

Click on your name in the top right corner, then click on share and copy one of those links. It will look like
http://www.okcupid.com/profile/mxh91
Or you can just add your username to this link

Does it count as views when non-OKC members view your pro; like me clicking on that link for example?

Well I would certainly be drawn to your picture (you are very beautiful, btw :) ), but I'm not sure how I would approach you, given what you wrote on your profile. You give a nice explanation of your interests, a bit of background regarding AS, but not too much about your humor- though you mention you like to "take the mick" out of people- maybe you should elaborate a little bit about it. After all, all of the hundreds of inevitable suitors waiting to sweep you off your feet you will be attracting in time do need something to work with to talk to you about! :P A humorous conversation is the best kind of start imo

Thanks for the feedback.

Yes, I should elaborate more.

So far I have seen WP superstars MXH and TeaEarlGreyhot on there.

I used to have an account, but I deleted it because I felt I couldn't meet anybody's standards on there.

Youve been there a couple hours, chill. lol

I agree with others in saying that your profile feels a bit unfinished. Not sure what to comment on specifically as im no expert profile maker as you probably noticed.

Cheers. :thumleft:

The thing is I have a similar profile on NZ dating and I went from getting 200 messages a day to none. Something I said? eeeek!
