I think this following article makes a lot of good points for those with an ASD, not just autistics.

It makes a lot of sense and understanding in a way why we act the way we do.

That had some good stuff but I disliked how the aether is implying that autistics do not want relationships. We are NOT all the samel Some of us really do WANT relationships & have a high desire for intimacy

I think the person has taken the story and tried to generalise actually.
The person was taking a view from one who is autistic who finds it hard, like us.

I assumed he was an NT. I must of missed it if he mentioned anywhere that he was autistic himself

I should have worded my reply better, sorry. I agree with you -- I meant the author wasn't trying to generalize that all autistic people would lack desire for a relationship, but rather that some do, and that social pressure to seek a relationship can lead to negative relationships.
