I am a Junior in HS, and I was wondering if it was ok for me to date a freshman?

I no understand...

Junior in High School? Is that like grade 10 since Grade 9 is considered Junior high? Wouldn't HS freshman and HS junior be the same thing?
Please elaborate.

Its just that when freshman heck week came around, I got into a fight with a jerk who tried to put her into a trash can, and he didn't get into any trouble at all and I got a restraining order put on me to keep me away from him.

BTW, Freshman is 9th grade, Junior is 11th.

That makes a little more sense, up here most high schools go from 10th to 12th grade in most areas, so freshman/sophomore would be considered 10th grade.

LGB, I don't think laughing at a 17 yr old that has a restraining order on him is too funny, if you're not careful in your situation, that may happen to you.

I got the order cause i busted his nose and broke his jaw after he drew a knife on me, yet, he didn't even get in trouble for having a weapon on campus just 'cause he's a football player.

That is just wrong. If he not only shoved a girl in a trashcan and had a knife, he should be expelled. I suppose his coach stuck up for him because he is a good player? That kind of ignorance, taking someone good at a game that hardly matters anyways over someone with good character, should be made illegal.

I had a boyfriend in high school who was a freshman on varsity football and he beat me up at school. All he had to do was attend 2 anger management classes and was suspended for a couple games. All the guys on his team put nasty notes in my locker (I had to switch lockers every week) and they threw food at me when I walked into the cafeteria. I eventually had to switch high schools because of the harrassment, even though he wanted me back and was trying to convince me to date him behind my parents' backs.

He was the BMOC and beat me up, but I am the one that had to leave school.

I hate how he got the benefit of the doubt b/c of his jock status.

See my blog for my experience in High school. I had immense problems with "jocks" and even once planned to attack them. They got away with everything and I was going to make them pay. Eventually I saw how fragile many of them were. The dad of the most popular guy at our HS was caught diddling little boys. Yet another had a parent die. They became completely different after that. Some of them stay the same but do they ever look small now!! !!

i'm a junior in high school and i've been with people a lot older than me, and about 2 years younger than me. they were never full-blown relationships, but yes. that is more than fine, trust me.

Good job for whoopin' his ass, Rakkety. *pats your back* Anyone who tells you "violence isn't the answer, you should have instead..." has their head up their butthole. You did the right thing. Hell, I would have broken one of his knees for good measure. Coming at you with a knife!? You would have been legally justified in shooting him if you were an adult with a concealed carry permit and not on school grounds.

But you did a stand-up job, mate.

View yourself as the beta caveman who smacked the sh*t out of the alpha caveman and got the girl. (Although you two weren't competing for the girl, but still....) Go now and enjoy the fruits of your evolutionary superiority.
