I don't know about you guys, but we're pushed to think about and consider everything in terms of some narrow superficial beauty concept to such an extent it's super unhealthy. I'm so sick of it. Why just feed into it, and go - "sucks to be those girls who rejected me in high school, cause now, they're UGLY!! ! ha ha!"
It's like a sickness, and personally, I want to get better.
Also it's good to keep note that many photos you see of celebrities are photo shopped or airbrushed and completely different to how they would look in real life. We are in a superficial society that we are living in today, where under the makeup, all is not what it seems to be.
Many people live according to society's standards or what perceived beauty is and never acknowledge who they truly are or feel content in themselves. Beauty is subjective and it is in the eye of the beholder, the images in many magazines are dishonest and unhealthy. The trouble is many young girls and even boys will perceive it as true beauty, starve themselves, result to taking steroids or feel insecure or unworthy in themselves because they aren't living up to that preconceived standard.
For instance, I'll post two pictures of a supermodel.
