still too soon to meet up and says we need to get to know each other better? Of course I know that means talk more and get to know her better. We have already talked about our jobs, work and hobbies...what the heck else does she need to know about me before she will be cool with a date? Btw I didn't perv out on this girl at all. I want to know her, but she is confusing me...

It sounds like she is disinterested and could be leading you on, I would be wary of this. If a girl really likes you, she will meet you, if she doesn't, she will be flaky and will probably only talk to you to flirt or for positive reinforcement.

I would say the best bet here is to move on and pursue someone else, if she is stringing you along, it's wasting your time when you could be investing in someone more rewarding.

Well, you can always do what she said, and know more about each other. But do you guys chat, text or talk by phone?

Well I should probably add that when I was checking my email I noticed a message reading that she chose the "I want to meet him" option. For those of you unfamiliar with this site, there is an option where you can browse through peoples' photos and click a yes, maybe or no button regarding whether or not you want to meet a particular person. Keep in mind, this option only shows profile photos and not the profile itself...so she could be interested only in my looks. That could be a possibility. We have been texting each other back and forth for a few days now. She is currently sick, so I have been just sending her texts asking how she is feeling and hoping she will get well soon, etc. I don't think she is stringing me along, but is possible. This girl just seems a little shy and maybe doesn't want to meet with a guy right after chatting with him online. Most likely for safety. I will just keep texting her day to day and see if she decides to meet with me. Any interesting things to say to a sick girl? haha

dont make it seem like its a big deal. make light of the situation by saying 'yea, there are a lot of super scary people nowadays'.

let her know you would really like to meet her, but that its perfectly fine to go at her pace.

I think it means you should focus more on being here friend rite now. Talk to each other about more personal stuff than jobs for example families, childhood & goals/dreams
