I am not proud of it but I am just asking so at least I don't feel alone. I just happen to be a 42 year-old virgin and am wondering how many other Aspies have gone decades without?

I'm nearly 30, so I'm not there yet, but I'm still a virgin. I don't know how I've survived this long without, to be honest. I don't want to end up a 40 y.o virgin

Since I plan on marriage, which is mostly why I'm saving it, among other reasons, I may or may not make it there. I feel like love is impossible for me at this point.

I'm nearly sixty. Too bad I'm not Catholic. I could be a priest.

I'm not a virgin, no matter which definition of male virgin you're using, but I did go decades without :) Pretty much the first two decades of my life (almost anyway, minus one year), and 11 years from age 27 to 38. I think that going without a hug for decades is much worse than going without sex for decades.

I mean, it's not that big of a deal. Have you ever felt rather awkward? Check. Have you ever had an orgasm? Good. Have you ever been hugged? Ok. Now combine those three experiences, and don't imagine hugging your grandma or anything weird, and you know what you've missed out on. Not all that much, imho.

I'm not 40 yet, but I'm getting there. Maybe it's not as weird as it seems since nobody ever cares in the first place.

I feel sorry for this guy since he's come on here asking a question and he must feel teased about being a 40 year old who happens to be a virgin.
Sirius, I think that you should be better off since that way when that special someone comes along. She will feel much more happy because you waited that long.
You need some self confidence.

32 this year with no signs of "losing it" anytime in the near future. By that I mean no girlfriend and have never so much as asked a girl to go out a cup of coffee, to say nothing of having sex with her. Sheesh, I even have problems TYPING the word "sex," so what hope do I have of even having any?

Not sure if this is a good idea, but a guy who was a virgin til his 30's started a free baby making business, and probably sees more action than most guys (here in Britain, many women want babies to go on the welfare system). Hehehe

I lost mine at 28 and I was trying since I was 14. After that night it was 3 years to the day that I had sex again (this time with the women I would marry). Now we are separated (but still living together for now) so it will likely be years before I have sex again :'(

It's not so much that as it is being deprived.

But I don't feel like I'm being deprived. I'm content with not being intimate.
