.... if you're a male seeking.

" Women find happy guys significantly less sexually attractive than swaggering or brooding men, according to a new University of British Columbia study that helps to explain the enduring allure of "bad boys" and other iconic gender types."

Good news for me. I never smile, and suck at faking it. Well, I will smile if something is very funny or I'm very happy, but not any other time.

Personally, I'd far rather be around people, male or female, who have happy, optimistic personalities, even if I'm not like that myself.

Haha, I've always hated the though of faking a smile. I can't do it, it's not how I am, I smile if I am happy, and think other people should do the same.

Also people who smile at me for no reason freaks me out.

I love the genuine smile, accompanied by glistening eyes, full of love. Ahh.

That would forget rule number 1: don't try to be something you are not, because that is not only transparent, but also awkward, unsustainable, and usually doomed to failure.

Just a sec ... I'll check the study before I write what else I'm thinking.

Yep, as I suspected, they were looking at images.

I confess, I like PICTURES of brooding men. Something sexy about the pose - - but is a POSE, and not something that stimulates me in real life. Because what stimulates me in real life - animated eyes, a winning smile - does not translate well into a still photo.

So take this stuff with a grain of salt. There is a factor at play the study was not able to account for.

So, women are attracted to swaggering and brooding men, eh? Time to go brood! (Does it make me look stupid if I confess I have no idea what that word means? lol)

Smiles ftw. It doesn't have to be a big fake grin, but looking generally interested and cheerful makes someone look more approachable and engaging. I think happy Boo looks nicer than boo hoo. :)

Not at all I will explain to you what it means free of charge

1.
preoccupied with depressing, morbid, or painful memories or thoughts: a brooding frame of mind.

2.
cast in subdued light so as to convey a somewhat threatening atmosphere.

I am a very bad brooder I can understand why women would fall for a brooder it's some one they think they can help logically it makes scence.
