I've started posting here again recently so there may be some people here that aren't tired of me yet.

This is to the other people with no luck at all in their love lives: I know there are all these self righteous a-wipes who tell stories about how they found someone so you should be able to find someone too and somehow that s**t should make you feel better.

But f**k that s**t. You know if you want to feel better you want to hear that someone still has it worse than you, not some as*hole bragging about their douchebag SO, right?

You think you have it bad? Then let me introduce you to the short beaked echidna.



Aww, isn't it cute? Now let me tell you why if you think you have it bad you are not familiar with the love life of the short beaked echidna...

Echidna ladies only mate once per year, as in one time per year with one echidna dude. From May to September. To get ready for this the males' balls start to swell up to 500% of their normal size to get ready. Say a male doesn't get lucky that year, he only has to wait 8 months for another try while barely being able to walk because of his blue and massively swelled orbs. And looking at that picture do you think that thing can just pleasure itself? Thank God for your opposable thumbs. Seriously, get down on your knees right now.

Yet us lucky human males can still dream about concepts like true love without worrying about carrying a 20 pound scrotum around with them for another 8 months if they blow a chance.

Be glad you are not a short beaked echidna.
