im aspie, she's NT. She got upset because I wasnt paying attention to her on the phone for about 5 minuets, while I was pre-occupied. She's super pissed now and wont even talk to me. I dont understand. Is this reasonable and does she have reason to be upset? Or am I missing something?

what was she saying in those 5 min? (could be important)

It is you. You are missing being NT. My wife gets mad at me everyday for missing my cue to say something. We get over it.

Erm, I think it's entirely justifiable for someone to be annoyed that when you're on the phone, having a conversation with someone, you aren't listening.

If you're on the phone with someone ESPECIALLY YOUR GIRLFRIEND you should be listening, not thinking about something else. Most importantly of all - Even if YOU think that's unreasonable, it's the norm with most people.
