I don't know, but I found this to be the most romantic proposal ever. Maybe something's wrong with me, but the combination of making her mad and then completely blindsiding her, it is just plain awesome. Thought I just share it, because... I dpn't really know, I just find it both hilariously mean and incredibly beautiful at the same time.

Know how I know I have Aspergers?

This is how I proposed to my wife: "So, we should get married."

I hear you. I recently talked with some people about marriage, and one of them said he really wants to marry and have a family and all, and the only thing that came to my mind was: "Yes, marriage is quite advantageous from a fiscal point of view. It can really reduce your tax burden!" It occured to me... about three days later that this is not really something people in a romantic relationship take into account when considering a proposal.

I may find it an awful proposal, but she was dating a prankster long enough to be very aware of his pranking as integral to his being. If she could stand it that long, she probably loves him (as opposed to knowing she just secured over half of his income and possessions - 'cuz that would be cynical.) ;)

I have been looking on their homepage, and I am not exactly what you would call a "Oh, look, they are such a sweet couple!"-guy, but I gotta say, they have the most awesome relationship I have ever seen. Expressing your love by playing pranks on each other, to me, they got what it takes to be happy together for ever and ever.

I saw that video a while ago and I totally don't get it. I even said at the time: this is probably why I'll never get married - because people like that do and I have no idea how.

I just don't see how that's a good way to propose. OK, so I hate pranks myself, but I can understand that maybe this is their thing - they both play pranks on each other. So if she laughed when that pot of green stuff fell on her and said "oh, I'm going to get you back for this" - OK, fair enough. But she didn't. She didn't look like she enjoyed the prank at all! She was happy about the ring, but not the prank. So why put the prank into it? Why not just give her the ring?

I found the pokemon thing to be really cute. I doubt I'll be getting purposed to anytime soon, My boyfriend and I have discussed it in passing but theres no need to rush things, were young and I don't want kids till at least 25

I'm 20 atm lol so yeah.

As for how I'm purposed to idc, just dont do anything that I'll pick up on, no fancy dinner, no stuff like that I want to be surprised completly lol
