First off, my name is Jason.

Also, my heightened intelligence and ability to focus on things I am passionate about makes me feel blessed to have AS.

Same as Jason here. The good features weigh up for the bad. I don't enjoy being social THAT much after all.

After all, someone else actually came up with that reasoning.

There was an HFA girl at my high school. It's not AS but it's close. To be honest I found her annoying as hell. Not saying aspie girls suck, just that even if an aspie girl (or an HFA girl) goes to your school you two might not even be attracted to each other. (Not trying to crush your dreams or anything.)

What are you saying?

Also, the person who came up with the philosophy I was referring to has not been here in a very long time!

Don't worry about it. I'm still single, and I'm starting to realize it's not so bad. NTs aren't SUPPOSED to fall in love, it just happens or something. XD

My view on it is this, you become so used to being single, that you never really think about it after a while.

however...........that's the approach for those of us who'd rather have one night stands. not that I do.....

I like having AS since it is "AS against the World" thing here. If they had AS girls at my HS, it would not work out. Even though it is a bit hard to create friends, it is wonderful to have AS.

Double A.

You need to be sociable, otherwise you miss out on the whole human experience.

Gamester, paraphrasing Cillian Murphy in "Red Eye", are you stalking me?
