I've never had any girlfriend, so not me. But I did know a guy who had a girlfriend much taller than him.

My ex-sister-in-law is over six feet tall. Her husband is like 5'9", I think.

I am 6'4"ish and i used to date a man 5'6"ish. so nearly a foot shorter then me.

My current boyfriend is only 1cm taller then me. He looks short next to me due to the fact he is twice my weight.

When I first started dating my future wife in high school at 15 she was about 3-4inches taller than me
of course she was 17. I felt real short at that prom with heels she seemed almost a foot taller.

At 6'4" it's pretty rare... one lady I dated a few times was a tad taller... and three times my width. :(

I'm lenient on what I find attractive, but that was just too much,

I could do with taller, and a bit larger. but im semi afraid of women moderately larger. Its not that i cant find them attractive, its that as a skinny bastard im afraid theyll break me

After my last talk with one of them I dont think things would work out between me and a tall/big girl.

We had fun/enjoyed discussing anything we came across, from the most irelevant thing to things that were a bit more important.

At some point we got stuck in a point and she started talking about the olympics and how she liked to watch gymnastics... so obvious question seemed to be if she had done any gymnastics as a child.

She took it badly, told me to look at her and that a girl like her was too big for gymnastics, said I didnt know how she looked as a child she said she was extremely tall and it looked even worse...
And I wouldnt be surprised if this kind of conversations were frequent.

Being all of 5'4", yes; most of the girls I've ever even had an interest in have been taller than I am.

i am taller. lol

also spongy. she may have been hurt like i was. when i was a child i did calesthenics and gymnastics until at the age of 7, i was kicked out for being too tall. it was the first time i realised i was a freak and abmormal. My daughter will not do these types of activities because i refuse to have other people tell her that her body is wrong while all the other girls are ok at such a young age.

Had a fling with a girl that was taller than me, but that's it.

I wouldn't date overweight people. I just don't find them attractive at all.

It happens to shorter people, too, for things like modelling and basketball,. Either way, in sports, there can be discrimination based on heights. But I've felt as a short woman that more doors were open if you were tall. You have a greater arm span that helps you swim faster, you have longer legs that help you run and jump better, etc. In fact, it seems a taller figure plays as an advantage in most sports where height makes a difference:

Anyways, to answer the question, at 5'3", I haven't had a boyfriend who was taller than me. But since I weight the same as my boyfriend who is 5'6", I am a bit bigger than him.

it mostly happens to shorter people in their teenage years not before even their pre-teen years like tall women get. Also that wiki article wasn't very informative except i am taller then most men in professional sports, i will have medical issues due to my excessive height, that i am a foot taller then the average female height in my country and that i am very likely to get descriminated due to my height.
