Hi -

I am new here and have a wife who I am 90% sure has AS. I am NT. My question is is it normal for undiagnosed AS people to resist being diagnosed? She goes ballistic if I even ask her to get tested or even suggest she has AS qualities and says she most certainly does not have AS. She has twin 16 years old kids, one with classic autism and one with NOD, but it still isn’t something she is willing to look into and it has a huge affect on our marriage - especially with money.
Thanks
G

Maybe you could just assume she has AS and read more on books and advice articles about communicating with her.

"Marriage and Lasting Relationships with Asperger's Syndrome" by Eva A. Mendes is a really good one.

Hope that helps!
