Okay there's this girl i got a coldstone creamery gift card for.
Jan 7 was her birthday (16,grade 10), I will be 17 in Aug (im a junior).
Ironic she's in my resource room lol, though none of us problems with "emotional intelligence".
Mostly things like ADHD and dyslexia.
She gives me looks like "Are you for real?", sometimes.
I do not really speak to her, I get the impression she has very mild contempt for me.
Though I feel she is a little introverted herself, but she is not like a kid, like myself.
I was gonna put on her desk yesterday with an anonymous happy birthday note before class started yesterday, but i had an appointment.
the same class starts in 10 minutes.

Is this beyond creepy or what?

How good of a speaking relationship do you two have?

If you're familiar enough and get along well enough, it's not creepy. It's just "hey, I see you and Happy birthday" basically.

On the other hand, if you two aren't really all that familiar . . . then it's a problem.

Why gift someone contemptuous?

Go get yourself some ice cream!

I would feel in this situation that you are asking for trouble. Save the gift for a closer friend or use it yourself.

Muslim Metalhead,

You're asking for trouble. If this girl found out you went forward with sneaking a birthday present onto her desk or slipping it into her locker; that's if you actually did so, then you should have thought otherwise.

When I was a sophomore in HS, I did the same thing once for a female classmate I had a crush on. She ratted me out to her friends and I had to keep a low profile until everyone forgot about what I did.

And some self-respect while you're at it.
Don't waste your resources on those who'll never appreciate it.

left a simple happy birthday note on her desk when she got up for a sec.

Didn't say anything but she probably resented.

At least it's better than the proverbial death sentence/literal restraint order I probably would have received for the gift card lol.

When I was 14 I had to a do a presentation for a class.

Everything went ok and I went back to my seat.

As I arrived the coolest kid in my class(used to play for a local soccer team, is now a player for a decent italian team and we were teenagers) was sitting next to me,which was an empty chair before presentation and said Im sorry.

After a few questions I figured out hed just written a small thing on my backpack(standard thing for local teenagers shows who are your friends/whatever).
I wasnt mad at him because it was a good thing(not that many people had something in their backpack by him) but I spent a while figuring out why he did it because it was odd since we had barely talked to each other.

I believe that this situation would have been even worse because you are doing it to someone of the opposite gender.

Just take the opportunity to leave her alone and not bother her again. That's obviously what she wants, so give it to her.

Save your money.

It's a bit weird considering you don't even talk to her.

Even weirder considering she doesn't seem to like you.
