It is frustrating.

I can notice that some women seem to be able to make a connection with me and have an interest in me.

However, I can't feel anything.

How can I overcome this?

You don't feel anything? Does that mean that you're gay, or asexual, or you just aren't attracted to those women? Why would you want to make yourself want something that you don't want?

I am sure it is an AS issue not being able to connect with other people.

Not about sexuality.

100% not gay.

I find that I can only connect to women that share interests with me, otherwise they are more or less uninteresting. A relationship that is not based on shared interests is in my opinion not likely to last, especially since AS people participate in social events for the "event" moreso than the "social".

If you find women that share interests with you and are interested in you, you will likely make a connection.

I still don't get it. Are you not feeling anything, or the girls you're interested in don't feel anything. If you don't feel anything, then I am still wondering why you want to be. Usually when people don't feel anything for another person, they don't think to themselves, "man, I wish I thought this person were hot," a more common reaction I think would be to look down on that person, or to be indifferent.

How old are you OP? I had one person before after we first kissed tell me that a kiss could have happened after the first date. She asked me after the first kiss "Didn't you feel the spark on the first date?" I guess she felt something earlier than I did. Maybe they need to be a little more patient and wait to see if you feel something. If you can find a way to communicate this, I'd advise you to do so.

41...

Good point. Maybe the other person is going too fast.
