Who says you have to do any of those things. We had a small wedding at one house then had the reception at another. I didn't know anyone really cause my family couldn't come because of such short notice. I survived. My sister and her husband eloped and the family got over it so whatever works for you.

I think you are getting way ahead of yourself. You're planning how he will propose?!

Since you are not happy about thinking about a wedding and you are not engaged, why are you fussing about this. If you eventually become engaged then you can tackle it. You do not know what your future holds.

I would let my fiancee do all the planning. I would offer input, but heck, I'd be happy just to tie the knot!

My advice: get a less formal wedding dress. Skip the train behind the dress. Think of what Edna Mode would say.
