If any of you use facebook, here are two pages you might want to check out: http://www.facebook.com/groups/ASPIEDATING/
Is for adults with AS looking to date. It's an open group but you still have to ask to join. Membership has jumped from around 400 to over 450 in just the past 3 months or so. You can always create a second facebook profile if you want to keep your aspie friends and activity separate from your old classmates, relatives, or NT friends.

Here is a new site for aspie friendship: http://www.facebook.com/groups/546852655325679/
This is more about interacting with other adult aspies, but it is closed so all your other FB friends can't see your activity in there! And you could use it to meet a potential date too.

The problem is you can't search members by location in either, which sucks. I'm not looking to date but was interested in the other one.

Unfortunately the dating group is not closed. But it is the best shot. There is a thread in there where people post their age & location and I keep directing new members to it. So it's not too hard to search. A lot easier than sifting through the odd-bods list on here. "Aspies Are Cool".is another one worth checking out. I haven't joined it yet, but it is a closed group with 864 members now. I'll be sure to post a thread for members interested in sharing their age & location if I join. http://www.facebook.com/groups/380254262010904/

Is it hard to find? I was recently a new member and neither found it nor got directed to it.

I just joined that group and it looks more like an autism support group similar to the Asperger's Awareness Community page. I haven't posted in there and dodn't know if I will use it much. I'll need to check it out more. The other two sites are the best for friends or dating. Aspie Singles and Dating is run by an American woman and is mainly for singles seeking friends or dates. Aspie Friends was just started by a young Australian woman and is geared more to friendship and just idle chat. But you may find a date there. The dating page does have a thread where a lot of people posted their age & location. You can see it here if you are a member. http://www.facebook.com/groups/ASPIEDAT ... 466578965/
