I'm admitting it now: I tend to find bigger women attractive - not necessarily big-breasted or tall, but big. I went to the BBW Romance and I'm getting a lot more people visiting my profile than I typically do I OkCupid. Since I dated that last girl, I found I like having something to hold on to :D .

So, Erisad and other girls who are a bit bigger - don't worry about it. :)

I don't find big women beautiful. They just look overly unhealthy.

Are there lots of larger ladies on there from the good old United Kingdom?

No idea - I didn't look. You can at least make an account look at local women without paying. I THINK it's available in the UK.

I saw some women who used that website on This Morning chat show, but I can't remember what their accents were, English or American. I assume you can use it in the UK if they're advertising and talking about it on there.

On the whole I think skinny girl look unhealthy. I suppose it is a matter of taste really.

All because you are a plus size woman does not mean you are unhealthy.

To the OP: What size do you like? I'm a size 2x-3x in clothing or 18/20 depending on what the store uses. I find it lovely you appreciate us!

It depends.

Some people can carry weight that lack muscle and strength and that isn't an appealing look for men or women at all.

However, I have seen some women that look active and just carry a little more fat over some muscle. Often, IMO they seem strong and more curvy and very sexy.

This whole stereotype about how all plus sized women are unhealthy isn't true.

I'm on the smaller end of the size range. All because I'm plus sized does not mean I'm going to let myself go and become a size 30/32. I eat very healthy and I exercise.

I was NOT meant to be any size over a 20. My metabolism is slow and I have to be cautious and careful about what I eat. Therefore, I will NOT go over my current size

Regardless, I will find a guy that's right for me

So if someone had glowing, clear skin, shiny hair, and loads of energy, they would seem unhealthy just because of being overweight?

i find big boned girls to look lie men especialy if they are 5'8 plus. I am not attracted to fat soft looking girlis with normal or small bones but would not turn them away if they were just chubby, 50 pounds overweight or less, and had a cute or better face..white teeth and shave ther legs lol.

btw the quote feature here sucks! w/e i quote it starts the cursor in the middle of another member's post.

I completely agree.

I really shouldn't say this, but since I study Sports Science, I kinda found something out. A large person who smokes, but EXERCISES, is healthier than a skinny person who does NOT smoke, but does NO exercise. The point is, you can be large and healthy, as long as you exercise. However it does not mean that I find large women attractive. I just thought I would say the above. We were always told, "Fitness, not fatness".

Awww shucks. I am coming to terms with my body but I still wanna lose another 40 pounds though, as I lost 60ish already. I'll never be a tiny girl but I wanna be a healthy girl. I wear a US size 16 now (I used to wear a size 20) but I would like to be a size 10 or 12. My bf supports my weight loss journey as he's trying to lose weight himself. But yes, he likes my curves as they are now but I assure him that they won't go away, but will just get more defined. So yeah, yaaaay support. :)

I am healthy though. I work in a warehouse and am on my feet 40-50 hours a week. I eat mostly lean meats, fruits and veggies. So this whole "fat chicks are unhealthy" stuff is BS. It's true in some cases but not for everyone. I gained a lot of my weight from anti depressants and college food.

I hope you find a lovely BBW for yourself Frieslander. And you be good to her, mmkay? :)

I agree. I'm very healthy. I am starting to do crunches and other exercises to tone a bit though. Don't get me wrong I'm happy with how I look. There's always room for improvement, no matter what size you are ^.^

Sound like you completely disagree, actually.

Are you a student at UWA? I know someone who teaches there.
