I have seen some people more then one site and more then one time asking "Can i become a lesbian" Or i want to be a "lesbian" when truth is it's offensive to people like me because you cant just hop into that life and say okay im going to run of and have sex with women now. ha you couldn't yeah but it's not on sex it's about who you feel attracted to and who you love inside yourself. Its about your feelings and how your born into life.
Point is the inside of me wants to turn around and smack them straight upside the head and say "Knock it of" Your offensive jerk. But i keep telling myself to be nice and let them learn there own way .
But sometimes i don't want to be nice. Does this make you mad to? you don't got to be a lesbian to answer does it or does it not?

Are you saying that you are offended by lesbians?

Why should I care? They'll find out soon enough that it doesn't work that way if they try it, and it doesn't make real lesbians any less real.

I have no problem with people experimenting and exploring themselves, if this is their true motive; after all it is their life.

It's ignorant, but it's not harmful. I mean, I understand wanting to change something fundamental about yourself. For instance, I don't want to be AS.

You can actually. You can decide that you want to have sex with women or men or both, but you're right. It does come down to who you fall in love with and that's what Lesbian or Gay or Bi-Sexual really is. The really important thing though is that no one but that individual knows where their heart lies. And sometimes it's easier to float a "what-if" out in cyber-space than to talk to your friends about it. Don't judge so hastily. EVERYONE is trying to figure themselves out. That's just life.

This basically sums it up for me. Usually it is a dumb comment people say when they get annoyed with members of the opposite sex. Girls will just say this because they've been hurt or confused by guys. I don't hink it was ever meant to offend lesbians, rather, it is an ignorant statement that expresses heterosexual dating woes.
