one upmanship???

It's not pleasant, I guess just over time it's not as bad. We have our moments. We usually keep to ourselves during worst times, like after eating certain foods.

Here is something to think about.

when you love someone romantically, things like that are sort of irrelevant. it's different with friends or family members (or strangers), where those things seem grosser. it's not that it is the most attractive thing, it is just not as gross when you care a lot for a person.

thank god, because i have the worst digestive system ever. veggies suck. dairy products suck. legumes suck. :(

^Haha. I never got used to it...not after four years in a relationship and I don't think I ever would have. I'm not sure if it was her being uptight about that stuff or me but I suspect it was me. Strangely, my family is completely open about it so you'd think I'd have been tempered but nope.

If you like the person enough, you will both learn to find it funny. When my sister or her boyfriend pass gas when they are together, they will just laugh and tease each other about it. They've been dating for about 8 months now.
