Just in a reflective mood right now, and I'm wondering if it's possible to relearn the skills we learnt when we were young? I mean dating and all that?

I had a lot of knocks when trying to date and while I'm not going to explore that dark path now, but it's clearly evident that I don't know well anything about modern dating and I haven't asked anyone since those dark days. Is it possible to relearn it all?

I don't think there is a successful typical behaviour that legitimises dating.

I think it depends a lot on the person you are trying to date.

Just be yourself, I guess.

Get books to learn social skills and conversation and get used to making eye contact when talking with people. I started in my 30's so it can be done.

I can be social and that - I've held the same job for five years, but where do you even begin? Ugh.
What on earth does - I think it depends a lot on the person you are trying to date. - even mean?

I'm lost. :?

it seems you meet your potential partner through mutual friends,
