I've said this a few times but I'm most confident in typing it out now. Based off what I've read here before this is probably the best plan I've had about getting a date with my crush anyway.

So as I'm sure many of you are aware the great Gatsby movie is coming out soon. This girl is in my English class, we had to read the great gatsby earlier this semester and both of us enjoyed the book. I am excited and want to see the movie and I'm sure she is too. Either this week or next depending on when I get a good chance to talk to her I'd start a conversation, after a while but not too long then ask what she is doing over the weekend. If she answers in a way that she is busy I can continue like nothing happened it was just friendly conversation. If she is free ill invite her to see the movie with me. I don't think I'll mention the word date anywhere but I think it may end up being implied. Then given how it goes I can say I like her and all that such at the not a date, date.

If two things said on this site have stuck out to me I'd say its
1) have a plan, act like you are going to do it anyway but would enjoy the others company. Not that the others company is the only reason your asking. Chances are if she says no I won't see the movie that weekend but I can make it sound like I am anyway. And that leads me into
2) be confident. Given what I know about her and our friendship im mostly sure she will say yes which makes it easy to be confident. Although if she says no it can't really be more than just that, a simple no.

I guess there isn't really much of a question here, I just wanted to share. I guess of you see a major flaw in my plan just point it out but mainly I just wanted to put my ideas down on paper (pixels).

And one more thing before I'm done wasting my time typing and your time reading (I don't know, maybe you enjoy reading this). I have also read that movies don't make the best first dates, so ill look for a show time around lunch or dinner so the movie isn't it all. Best would probably be a show time before a meal so if it all goes bad the movie still exists to talk about.

Well I'm off for now, time to re-learn 3D modeling. After that programing. I'm going to make an indie game with my dad. I don't expect the next super meat boy, I may not even put it up for sale. I just want something to be proud of. I've typed a lot now, is there a character limit on this? And I'm off topic, now to force myself to stop typing,
Bye
